http://news.ebc.net.tw/apps/index.htm

so far the best config tried is to use bridging for both singnet broadband & mioTV. But the twist is you'd need to dial up the broadband connection from your OS (e.g. WIn XP)
the settings of VPI / VCI: 0 / 100 for SNBB and 1 / 100 for miotv applies
setup bridging for SNBB & miotv

setup portmapping and put the miotv interface with a port dedicated to miotv

this turn out to be the more stable config and give many hours of stable & decent usage

juz wanted to post this for info------------------------------------------------
i do not like the 2wire bb router so i got a dlink dsl-2740b
but i signed up for mio home and got stuck with it coz of mio tv
yesterday i finally got down to configure the multiple vc support my router has
i configured 2 wan interfaces
one pppoe vpi/vci (0/100) for the bb and one bridging llc vpi/vci (1/100)
then i go to the port mapping for the options to enable virtual ports
i left my first 3 ports to the default group and create a miotv group for the 4th port together with the interface the router created for the bridge (the router named it so i couldn't change it)
retarted my router and everything is good to go

Note: Of course the mioTV ethernet port will have to be connected to the port which you bridge.

for this router dsl-2640B it appear that using PPPOE with lots of config tends to 'overstress' the router, giving stability problems.recent d-link dsl-2640B works this way just as well------------------------------------------------

mioTV & internet (singnet broadband) works perfectly concurrently (i.e. both internet + mio tv).
the d-link modem router delivers some 19-20 mbps to miotv for my end !
pretty stable so far, it rocks
the config screens are similar
